How Self Pricing Works
Self lets everyone try the full product and publish for free for 7 days, while Pro and Team stay intentionally accessible and focused on sustainable infrastructure costs.

Pricing is one of the most important product decisions we make at Self, because it defines who can access the product and how long we can keep improving it.
Our first principle is simple: everyone should be able to experience the real product. That means the free experience includes all core functionalities, all templates, and full editing capabilities so people can test Self without artificial limitations.
We also want everyone to be able to publish and share their page, even before paying. That is why the free plan includes a full 7-day published page window, so users can validate their positioning in real situations with recruiters, hiring managers, and peers.
Analytics is positioned as a premium feature in Pro and Team. It is a high-value layer for users who want deeper visibility into visits and engagement, and it also carries continuous processing and infrastructure costs that we need to sustain responsibly.
Accessibility is still non-negotiable for us. Many of our users are postgraduate students and early-career professionals with limited income, so we worked hard to keep Pro below €1 per month on the yearly billing equivalent.
This does not mean Self is a non-profit product. Our pricing is intentionally set to primarily cover infrastructure and operating costs while keeping the door open for as many users as possible.
The Team plan is designed for small groups of around eight people who need more capacity and shared consistency. It gives teams a practical way to standardize high-quality personal pages, keep analytics available, and manage publishing at a predictable cost.
