Self began with a problem I experienced myself. During a period of uncertainty at work, I rebuilt my CV and realized how poorly a static document represented a professional life. That experience led me to create the first version of Self.
Business Age invited me to take part in its My Big Idea series and talk about the story behind the company. In the interview, I discuss my background in software engineering and scientific research, why Self sits between a traditional CV and a general website builder, what we have learned from our first users, and why we are taking a patient approach to growth.
